On April 19, 2024, the Erasmus Conference Center hosted the conference “Training the Modern Legal Interpreter and Translator” in Athens, Greece. This event brought together EULITA members and interested individuals to discuss revisiting the profile of legal translators and interpreters, training the modern legal translator and interpreter, as well as synergies in training legal translators and interpreters.

We are pleased to highlight the contribution of Mira Kadrić. Her invited speech, “Legal Interpreting in Education and Research: Building Networks of Trust and Responsibility,” provided valuable insights into the essential role of trust and responsibility of all stakeholders in the field of legal interpreting.

Following the conference, on April 20, 2024, the 14th EULITA General Assembly took place, furthering discussions and developments within the Association.
